Probably the best signposted walk I have ever been on. Tougher than most people think so do not underestimate the amount of ups and downs. Amazing views as far as the Welsh Mountains and a must for those interested in history as long barrows and...More

Only 21 miles to go & then that will be another National Trail Ticked off. Some great Pubs between Chipping Campden to Bath. According to my wife Bath doesn't have an R in it

We walked the entire length of the Cotswold Way over a period of 10 days. Having walked these sorts of distances before on National trails I would say that The Cotwold Way is the most interesting due to the numerous lovely, picturesque villages you pass...More

We walked the Cotswolds way, in day sections from Chipping Camden to Painswick and then walked from Painswick to Bath over 6 days staying overnight in B&b' and hotels. Highlights were the wonderful stunning views, picture book villages, perfect countryside, mature woods, dry stone walls,...More

My wife and I walked from Chipping Campden to Painswick in five days. About half of the Cotswold Way. Everything was attended to by Mickledore Tours (reviwed elsewhere). I'ts a lovely trail with wonderful scenery. Fairly easy going with only a few steep bits along...More

We did several sections around Cheltenham, from Cooper's Hill(cheese rolling) to Cleeve Hill over several days using two cars so we didn't need to use public transport. The sections recommended on the website seem to have places to park. The way is very well marked...More

We have walked the whole of this over a period of time, and it includes a number of Cotswold gems. Today we walked the trail around Crickley Hill. There are only a couple of bad bits: crossing the road by the Air Balloon, and further...More

Took part in a 26 mile charity walk on part of this in July. Started in Hillesley and finished in Bath and it was amazing. Beautiful scenery, unspoilt countryside, cute villages and some big hills! Lovely part of the world.

We had only two days to walk in the Cotswolds but the experience was memorable. We used Chipping Campden as a base camp and then followed the maps provided by Hikes and Bikes to visit Hidcote Manor and Broadway Tower. The trails were well marked...More

We only did about a third of it and I would recommend doing the service for transportation of luggage because we carried ours...but the views are stunning and the trail is so well kept. It's not crowded and the instructions are so clear.

You can get the train to Bath Spa station and then walk the Cotswold Way from south to north. This means you get the prevailing wind behind you. At the north end, there is no station in Chipping Campden, but you can get the... More

Hi. I would recommend making reservations at that time of year, as accommodation can be limited in some places along the Trail. I walked it over 8 days last year, averaging around 12 miles a day. You will have plenty of... More
