I didn't realise the Cotswold way ends in bath right in front of the Abbey. We live not far from the other end in Worcestershire. The abbey is definately worth a visit.

I hiked from Peterborough to Plymouth and my routes included sections of many different long distance routes as I crossed the country. I only walked part of the Cotswold way and found it pleasant with good views and plenty of great hostelries along the way.
