We stumbled across the Kino cinema in Rye purely by accident during the Jazz festival. The staff were incredibly friendly and advised us as to the best place to sit. Our children loved going to a different style of cinema instead of the big multiplex...More

Visited Rye from 25 /28th August for the jazz and blues festival. The Kino had a stage and chairs and I enjoyed watching some brilliant bands play from 1pm 5pm for 4 days all free. The sound was great and it soon became packed ....More

This is the most beautiful cinema I have ever been to. In such a tucked away building. The cinema is such high quality and great to watch films in. Food and drink is really reasonable and you can take it into the film. Would highly...More

This place has now become a family favourite as a cinema but also for regular cafe trips. Reliable food that offers locally sourced ingredients. Excellent coffee and lovely friendly staff.

Love this little cinema. Very often if there’s a limited release film kino will get it which is awesome. Seats are super comfy and they do iced coffee - something the multiplexes don’t. Price wise it is average for a cinema so I won’t complain...More

This cinema is a cosy and quirky place to watch a film. Staff were friendly apart from the person who showed us to our seats only to unsympathetic state that he had just say someone else in them! I prebooked these seats a few days...More

This delightful cinema once housed a Library. It had been decorated in retro 50s and 60s style and there is a great cafe too!

So nice to sit in a cinema with no remains of chewing gum, popcorn spilt all over the floor and discarded paper cups.

A fantastic little local digital cinema with two screens. Regular live links to the opera house and Covent Garden makes it a real treat. Good selection of good and beverages also available to non cinema goers in a lovely courtyard.

We visited the Kino during half term to watch Show Dogs. What a breath of fresh air this place is! Good, well made food, friendly and knowledgable staff and immaculately clean. We’ll definitely be back.
