Love this pub!.its not huge bit it's quaint....local pub with great bar maid. If you are hungry grab a doorstep sandwich or roll .... for £2.50 you won't starve. We just took a couple home and there is plenty of ham....loved it

No TV's or loud music to distract, Reasonable selection of Ales but most importantly just a cosy pub for banter. Does have a UK map of alternative names for regional peoples. (Liverpudlians = won't stop talking about the Beatles) some odd art work.
Excellent old style traditional pub, warm and friendly, Alison is one of the loveliest and funniest barmaids you will find anywhere, and Andee is also lovely too. Good ales, great prices too. A place for conversation and laughter. Highly recommended.
