The country park is so easily accessible it could be over-run yet it is, even at weekends, a peaceful place not just for a brisk walk but also for stunning views along the coast from Dungeness to Beachy Head. There is a cafe (up for...More

I could not park as I do not have a mobile phone. Which is the only way to pay. This must deprive large section of the population from a site of beauty which should be open to every body.

If you love walking in the wide open space this is the place for you! Only a small change for the car park which lasts all day. This country park is never crowded and a favourite with dog walkers.

I forgot how serene and picturesque it is up at this end of the country park. Absolutely beautiful & hardly anyone there on a sunny September Saturday morning.

Hi, the best way to do this is to park in the town then take the railway to the top of East Hill, up the steps the park is right there. Enjoy
