Been here a few times! Always had a great time! It may need updating slightly but there's still plenty to do and see! Great value for money! Definitely worth a visit

Quite spooky and not suitable for very young children, but very well set out in original smuggling tunnels. Lots of history about smuggling and Hastings with many old artifacts and documents. Highly recommended.

Paid about £16 for entry for myself and husband, felt we had wasted some money after leaving. Our timing was not great and there were far too many students around although we were informed of this prior to entry and told it wouldn't effect our visit. Whole place was very dated, scruffy and lots of but were not working. There... More

A good little tourist visit but a bit dated. Nice to explore the caves but the manakins etc are bit worse for wear and people have graffitied on the cave walls. Easy enough to get to and not too much walking etc. Not too expensive.

It's slightly dated but worth a visit if you have young children. Not really what we were expecting but still interesting.

Smugglers adventure in Hastings is a cave system that is 70 feet underground. Very interactive with many displays with buttons to push for information or short video clips. A story of the history of smuggling is told by a main friendly video character that is interesting. We went as two adults and loved it. A lot for kids to do... More

In the East Hill Hastings the caves have been turned into an interactive experience detailing the history of the caves and of Smuggling along the Kent and Sussex coast. As a lover of Russell Thorndike's "Doctor Syn" books I found the caves and the exhibition fascinating. The two 10 year old boys we took loved the Hairy Jack ghost and... More

Decided to visit the caves as we were in Hastings for the day. Took ages to find them . Very very poorly signposted I thought. Spent nearly a hour in the caves . Couple of the attractions weren't working . Everything was pretty dated and old fashioned. Was it worth the money??. Just about I reckon .. would we visit... More
