The castle is well worth a visit. It's about £5 but it's cash only. It's very informative with boards dotted throughout the ruin that explains what was where. There's also a small video explaining the history of the castle. There's some great views of Hastings...More

The castle stands proud over the town and if you venture up to the castle you will have great sea views and views of the town itself. A real piece of history associated with this old town and former battle site. Well worth visiting.

Took the lift up to the castle but were disappointed, expensive for what it is. Nice views across the town but that's about it, not really worth it.
