I liked the castle although it is mainly ruins. My 3 children ran around playing and enjoyed it. It is a bit pricey for what it is. There are great views across Hastings.

Shame on the castle for not noting on its website that it’s cash only at the entrance. My husband and I went here Sunday late afternoon and the attendant had the audacity to blame us for coming later in the day and then not having...More

The entrance price is just under five pounds for an adult, this is expensive as the average visit time is 60 minutes, the castle is a ruin and is very interesting. There are great views over hastings.

Even though the castle is in ruins, it was still very interesting to see the castle that William the Conqueror built.

Fabulous place to visit, especially if you like climbing steps and clamouring over rocks. And that's before you get in to the castle. But I believe there are easier ways to get to it, such as by car, but why would you if you don't...More

it does not cost anything as it is just a ruin!! but you have to go up on the cable car to see it, and that was not expensive.
