This castle has some great views over Hastings and is picturesque. My girlfriend managed to get some very nice pictures. It has an old charm about it! possibly a nice place to stop and just take a break.

The five pound entrance is well worth the money. Information boards all round the site give interesting information about how the castle used to be. The twenty minute vidio is a must. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore.

The castle is well worth a visit. It's about £5 but it's cash only. It's very informative with boards dotted throughout the ruin that explains what was where. There's also a small video explaining the history of the castle. There's some great views of Hastings...More
