This is a very good little museum, it's tucked away in the heart of the old town, and free to visit, it also has a small gift shop. Just around the corner are some of the locations from the filming of Foyle's War.

A real 'old fashioned' museum, stuffed full of things and interesting information. There was a quiz sheet for children, which made the visit interesting for them.

Good place to pop into to read up on history of Hastings and the surrounding areas, with good amount of detail and artefacts/images as well! Only need around half hour to soke up enough to feel you know more about the history of Hastings.

Just a small museum, but surprisingly very interesting. You only need half an hour and it's free, definitely worth visiting, specially it's situated in the middle of old town.

Not a large museum, but a really informative and interesting history of Hastings. I took my 10 and 8 year old daughters and they both enjoyed it. Very close to the seafront and George street so not a big detour.

Follow the timetable and see when Hastings was founded, what the people did and the history of the area. Its free!

I loved this place. It brought back fond memories of my childhood, growing up in Hastings. Also, I could identify the exhibits there from photos passed down to me by my parents and grandparents.
