If one wants to experience the creative world of toys, toy and model making then this is one of the places. There is a bias towards trains, steam trains and models, but what a lovely place to be when one can also see Punch and...More

We have been here as a family with two small kids. While they have both been under 4, and thus do not have to pay anything, two adult tickets already cost 13 quid. The museum itself is nice, but then there is not that much...More

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit to the museum. We are a charity dependent on the support of volunteers and international interns to staff the museum and as you can see from our...More

Worth a stop, and it doesn't cost much to get in but you will be done in about 20 minutes as it is not a very large collection, although if you're really interested in toys, the Bethnal Green toy museum in London is much bigger...More

Fascinating for those of a certain age. Lot of cars, trains, soldiers and stuff from our childhoods. But the trail for kids kept our 6 yr old interested and the woman at the desk was very sweet and questioned him afterwards, which he enjoyed. Great...More

This museum has been open for many years and I had never got around to visiting it. It was well worth rectifying this and I no doubt will visit again when I have friends visiting Brighton. It is definitely one of the attractions that deserves...More

Well this place is something special! I spent about 3 hours there and only left because I thought I might seem a bit weird. If you're into toys/hobbies/mechanics from very old to not so long ago you'll love this place. Staff are very welcoming and...More

Hi Paul. Thanks for the great review, come back any time! And don't worry about looking weird after your third hour, we're all a little bit wonky here.. Dan

A looooot of toys of all kinds: trains, cars, dolls, airplanes, etc..also a puppet show (if you insert 10p!)! Interesting place to visit, makes you wanna buy all of the toys...small and you see it all fast, but I think its worth of the visit

Tucked away under the railway station, good for a rainy day. Not too big that children get bored, and interesting for the adults of all ages. Ask for the quiz sheets, there are several which which keep the kids entertained for a while.

I was so excited to visit this museum as the history of childhood and toys really fascinates me. It is a small museum tucked underneath Brighton railway station. The staff present were interns who were so enthusiastic and polite. I really enjoyed the dolls, dolls'...More

Hi there, Thanks for your question. There are two car parks in close proximity (5 minute walk or less) to the Museum. One is the multi story car park at Brighton train station. The other is just down Trafalgar street (take... More
