I went to see the delightful John Wilson Orchestra. They were, as usual, the best. I would have enjoyed it more if several latecomers had not been allowed to go to seats in the front and middle rows while the music was being played (up to 15 minutes before the interval even). It is very rude to the performers and... More

Been here twice to see different bands - excellent venue (and the louder artists they have there - they do supply free earplugs!), only downside is the drinks/refreshments- disinterested/rude bar staff, not the quickest service as they are usually chatting to each other! Apart from that minor moan, highly recommended!

Great historic venue in centre of town . Great friendly security , great seating / standing venue , good view everywhere. Bar isn't great as not much choice and due to regulations served in plastic glasses plus need more staff at busiest times before bands come on . Mezzanine bar slightly quicker to get served on. Sound really good too... More

Been here many times over the years, saw Passenger play here last weekend. It is a great venue, perfect size, big enough that you have a great atmosphere but small enough that you get a good view of the stage from wherever you are. With it being an old solid stone building the acoustics great too.

Sunday night concert for Brighton musician Passenger. Queues went in funny directions and onto the road which wasn't great but with no barriers it naturally went that way, perhaps staff looking after the queue would have helped, it was a cold and wet day though so don't blame them for staying inside, but with cars coming past, it wasn't as... Came here Saturday night to see Josh Widdecombe, sat in the circle and had a great view would happily come back. Drink prices very expensive but what you expect for a venue really. Staff really helpful too. The only downside was it was incredibly warm and stuffy.

Now whether the dome has it's own sound and mixing consoles I know not in which case they should employ someone who can point the visiting sound engineers in the correct direction. Having listened to, well having been bombarded with a wall of noise with no discernible lyrical content from the vocalist of either warm up bands one of which... More

Booked to see Bear's Den at this venue and it was fantastic. Well organised with friendly staff. We were seated in the circle but I think you would get a good view of the stage where ever you were placed. The venue made for fantastic acoustics. I would definitely go again.

Tickets booked to see Jamie Lawson and Callum Scott. We had stalls tickets shown as standing only. On entry we found that the lower seating was not reserved so we sat in what we were told were the best seats in the house and they were. Great concert with venue staff all extremely helpful. The bar during the interval although... More
