This is a nice place for walking, shopping, dining, or people watching in case you're into taking in the unique Brighton vibe.

Lovely wandering around the quirky shops. Nice that not a standard boring high street. Easy to get lost. Some fantastic second hand jewellery stores. Places to stop for coffee, vino and food.

Although meanwhile poised with a zillion juwelry shops, still worth a stroll through this part of Brighton’s history. Narrow alleys and lots if people.

I have just bought my husband a gold wedding ring. We have been married for nearly 45 years and he has never had a ring. I have at last persuaded him! The shop is lovely and so are the owners. There is a wonderful range...More

Well worth walking around and searching through other people’s junk but why does there junk have to be so expensive?

Great mixture of shops and different foods, definitely worth visiting. The only negative is the amount of beggars constantly accosting you and some of them have a very bad attitude.

Found this place by following the signposts. Too many jewellery shops for my liking but it was entertaining.

Brighton has so many please to eat and every other place in The Lanes appear to sell food of some sort. Everyone would find something to their taste. Not just food but clothes stores as well

The Lanes is a host of independent traders who open (as you'd imagine) independently. Some of the cafes open earlier for breakfasts but most of the jewellery shops start opening up around 10am
