The history of this place is well worth discovering - it does take a walk to get out to it as there are not roads near by but that is part of the reason the place is so special - very calm with great views...More

This unique memorial is one you have to make a significant amount of time and effort to get to. There is free parking, but it's more than a mile to walk from there to The Chattri across the Downs. Not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies....More

Thoroughly enjoyed the walk to the Chattri and once there it was extremely tranquil with fantastic views. We went late afternoon so we could admire the autumnal sunset on the walk home

Miles away from anywhere on the downs. This is a sunday afternoon walk activity. You will be walking thru muddy cow fields to get there. Has a great view when there.
