Preston park is a great space. One reviewer says that there is a bronze statue of Brighton Olympic gold medal winning athlete Steve Ovett. Unfortunately it was stolen, all they left were his feet. However another statue has been made and is on Madeira Drive at the finish line of the Brighton Marathon. The Rock Garden opposite is actually called... More

Went to the parkrun here as a one off. Really pleasant experience, friendly people and flat course on tarmac. The cafe for the post run coffee is amazing. All home cooked cakes and biscuits and lovely staff.

Lovely place to walk, watch the many sports being played and to relax with a cup of tea or coffee. The food at the Rotunda cafe great value for money. A great park to relax and enjoy a peaceful time.

Great park, has a bit for everyone. Areas for so many different sports and activities. Plenty of space for plenty of games of football/rounders/frisbee as well as public toilets and a play area.

Preston Park is a popular space in the centre of Brighton and about a mile from the coast. It is big enough to feel there is plenty of space and surrounded by many long-lived trees, provides an escape from the urban environment that surrounds it. If it is a windy day on the seafront, it can often feel much more... More

We had bought on the internet a three attraction ticket, well worth the money. The final stage was this building, signposting could be improved. However very glad we went. lovely homely feel despite the 'witchcraft' exhibition. A very fine house with lots to see. But no refreshments available so eat first

Probably our favourite park. Two cafes. Lots of green space. Nice kids play area. Interesting rockery opposite and plenty of trees. Great for a stroll and cup of tea.
