We visited here last week. It's brilliant if you like a good view. You can see for miles at quite a hight. There is a walking trail. The one we did took a good hour. About 5 miles in a circle. There are two nice pubs to stop at. One at the top by the car park and one at... More

The hotel is perched on top of Devils Dyke with great views and walks around it. We got the 77 bus up from Brighton to have a superb lunch on our first visit to eat at his pub. The shin of beef and rump beef was beautifully cooked and all the vegetables perfectly done. The choice on the menu was... More

We recently visited for the first time and loved the views and the walk. The car park was rammed and people were getting rather frustrated. We were yelled at by another person when we tried to park as everyone was circling the car park looking for spaces and believing that the next space was 'theirs', so maybe head there early... More

Provides lovely and expansive views towards the south coast and Brighton. Appears to be a good location for day walks: was a bit too cold and windy for that the day we visited.

One of our party wanted to have a look and I've been there many times. The best views over the weald close to Brighton. This time there was an electric fence about 25 yards down the hill. I'm not sure if it is to keep stock in or visitors out! Great place to watch the hang gliders on a breezy... More

We always love visiting The Devil's Dyke when we're in Brighton. Really enjoy the Sunday lunch, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely bring a camera and walking shoes, there are beautiful views and lovely walks.

Went for a brisk 1hr jaunt around the area. Saw a massive valley with cattle. Lots of happy dogs being taken for walks. Lots of scenery, and at some locations we could even see Brighton & the English Channel. From the viewing spot near the Devil's Dyke Inn, we couldn't see too much as it was a bit gloomy and... More

Lucky visit for a walk on the top of the world. We were not alone but it was an amazing chance to view southern Britain below us on an unseasonly mild day with clear skies.
