Worth seeing the transformation of brighton over the years. Some superb exhibitions come here too. Conveniently located near the lanes and the pavilion its an easy museum to wonder around.

Well presented artefacts. Most interesting sections were upstairs - the performer spectator gallery with costumes/ puppets / models from around the world (have never seen such an exhibit before and having travelled a fair bit thought it was fascinating for this to be in Brighton)....More

20th century furnishings and style excellent. People's pottery superb. LGBT and excess art exhibition by Laura ford affective. There were hundreds of children and it was entertaining to be engulfed by them!
