Brighton is great fun, but the word beach does not apply to the pebbly stuff along the seashore. Pity...it would be great to walk along the seafront with dog, kids, lover and enjoy the amazing sunsets....

Such a lovely place for a nice scenic walk. It was our first time ever on a pebble beach, and honestly, we preferred it too a sandy beach!! Lovely little shops also. The only down side is the litter. But all in all, a good place for all ages and such a warming atmosphere!!

My friend and I had great fun checking out the shops and arcades on the seafront but the best bit by far was the view. I got some lovely pictures. We walked most of the length and had some great fun. Even though it was February it was lovely.

Anyone who has done their research knows that Brighton beach is rocky so is difficult enough to walk on compared to a sandy beach but also the beach has a pretty strong incline which means easy enough to get down not so easy to get back up

Even in winter, this is a spectacular city and the pier at night is a marvel. Fantastic. The bars, the independent shops, not to mention all the traditional features of the marvellous pier. When all lit up at night, worth seeing that alone!

It was very misty but walking along the beach was a highlight of my Brighton visit. I imagine it's even better in the summer!
