We had a spare day, so decided to catch the train down to Brighton. The beach was quite busy, even on a cold and windy day with people strolling along the promenade. Some interesting shops, galleries and cafes.

Really nice and clean beach with a lot going on around it. Even though it was very cold it was nice to have a quick walk along.

They are not allowed during high season on the central beaches. However if you walk towards the marina some of the furthest stretches including the nudist beach it is permissible.
