Lived in hove, brighton for a year. Its very dirty, trashy, run down and overhyped. Some locals were shockingly pretentious, narrowminded, ignorant and arrogant. Not wasting more time or money here.

You can get snowfall the further north you go so Manchester would be the better option. It does snow in Brighton but cannot be guaranteed.
