This is a great route for a not very confident cyclist like me. Traffic free and the signage makes it clear all users need to share. Plenty of places to stop - all benches have bike stands next to them. If you start at Heathfield...More

If the weather is right, this is a lovely day out. For an easier ride take the trail from Heathfield and you can go 20 miles all the way to Eastbourne Seafront. For a harder route go in the opposite direction.

With two pairs of young feet with us, we could only manage a short 4mile walk from Heathfield to Horam, and back. It was a brilliantly sunny day, the clarity of the birds tweeting and whistling, and the trees towering over us -- set the...More

As we live in the area this makes for a quiet country walk. Open fields and woodland all around and walk is on a well maintained tarmac path. Used by walkers dog walkers and cyclists. Can be enjoyed by all age groups.
