Can stop at loom mill for coffee if going towards Eastbourne or Horam renowned bikers cafe there.

Took the route from Polegate to Heathfield with our 7 year old son. 22 miles round trip. There's a steady incline on the way there, but downhill easy cycling on the way back and much quicker. Had a great lunch in Wessons cafe in Horam....More

We biked the Cuckoo trail starting from Polegate so that it was downhill coming back. I don't recommend doing this ride when the trees are in leaf. It's quite pleasant but you hardly see any views.
And don't use the car park at The Centre...More
