The Tourist Information Centre was unfortunatley moved from it's old premises to the Dorchester Library, fortunatley the staff have worked hard to make it a successful move. The staff are freindly and helpful and well worth a visit for locals and visitors alike.

After reviewing all of the guides, brochures and pamphlets available in the racks, be sure to ask the staff for a copy of the area maps and WALKING TOURS. The walking tours are local to the Centre and very enjoyable.

Thank you for your feedback. Dorchester TIC moved at the end of March 2017 into its new premises at the library and they are indeed smaller. However, we are delighted to be able to continue to offer a tourist information service in Dorchester, where many...More

The place is in the centre of the town and is staffed by friendly, knowledgeable people who will do their utmost to assist. Plenty of Information leaflets about local attractions and even some from far away - I noticed one for Keswick on today's visit!...More

There are no organised tours to Stonehenge, from Dorchester. It is about 50 miles or 1.5 hours, by car. The nearest place that would arrange tours is Salisbury.
