We purchased the golden ticket to visit 5 different museums. The teddy bear museum was small and didn't take long to finish but it was pleasant and all of the bears were well looked after and it was lovely to see some bears from my own childhood.

The exhibit is very small (it really won't take you very long to look around) so I felt the entrance fee was a bit high considering. However, what there is to see is pretty cool, bears of all shapes and sizes! Nice shop and staff are very friendly.

This is the name for people who love and collect teddy bears. We visited on an exceedingly rainy day so we were the only visitors. A disembodied voice was reading excerpts from Winnie the Pooh. The venue is an old Methodist Chapel divided into two parts; the lower exhibition is an historical show not really related to the area of... More

We came looking for the dinosaur museum, which was closed (despite the website saying it was open) and therefore ended up here with two kids (8 and 6). It is small but will absorb a fun 20-45 minutes with some lovely exhibits, interesting explanations and nice activities for the kids. Worth popping into.

The 3/5 rating is not because its a naff place, but because its quite pricey for what you get. Outside the building it seems fairly big, but inside you will find it is just the upstairs. On the subject of the stairs, they are quite steep as this is an old building. There are about 6-8 different scenes and many... More

This is a small museum at the end of Dorchester, it is shared with a museum about the Chinese Terracotta Army. You can get a joint ticket but we only wanted to see the Teddies. It is upstairs only not sure if there was a lift for those who may have difficulties. It is divided into many rooms. There are teddies of... More

Bought a 5 for 2 visit ticket. I was looking forward to the teddy bear museum the most. It was just lovely to look at the only teddies. Sooty and sweep musical and reading the teddy bear story on the way round. Although the exhibition wasn't large it was interesting. I loved it 👍

Great for small children who looked up in awe when they first saw the life size teddy bears. Nice and compact. Good for killing an hour or two with small children.
