If you're visiting or just looking for a casual or romantic stroll, the pier is worth the walk. Great views inland. Several activities are on the pier and a cafe but just the pier itself is a treasure. If you're a resident, it's just as...More

Being a southerner from Littlehampton we have had the pleasure of visiting many a pier along the coast and this is the first I have been to where you are asked to pay a toll. The last time we was here was two years ago,...More

Didnt go on as didn't realise i would have to pay! Other people were mulling about wondering whether to go on or not. It wasnt extortionate and it could be me being tight but I can remember when piers were free.

We try and visit Bournemouth once a year and was disappointed that they now charge £1.20 per adult just to walk on the pier, the only thing different we saw was a zip line which has a fee so why the charge for the pier?...More

For events such as the air show or the sea festival then the pier is a good view point with shade and some seats available. For the rest of the time it's not worth the £1.20 per adult when all other piers are free.

This pier is involved in a lot of activities in the summer, but the best is the annual Air Show. You have to see it to get the excitment of it.

Lovely little pier. Fantastic place to watch the Sufing from. Well worth a visit. Plenty of seating and a nice place to sit down with a cuppa and watch the world go by.

£1.20 to get on the pier...but what for? The zip was not open because it has just gone into off season...other than a coffee shop, not much else to see here...not really worth thew visit
