Parking is expensive but once we got on the path and up high it was all worth it. Superb 360 degree views but quite busy.

Lovely for walks and to visit the beach. Parking isn't cheap though! There's a cafe both ends of the walk and a litre noddy train. Something for everyone

If its sunny & warm - fabulous walk If its raining - wear waterproofs - exhilarating walk. If its really windy - protect yourself from blowing sand - exciting walk. History, country, wildness, beach and sea all together. What better? (and super visitor centre, grand model train ride, and great bacon sandwiches at cafe)

No matter what season we are in, Hengistbury head is a beautiful place to explore. Take a walk up to the top of the head for a breathtaking 360 degree view. Come down the other side and sit on the beach with a beautiful view towards the Isle of Wight. Feeling peckish after this, drop in to the hungry hiker... More

I visited here shortly after moving to Dorset for the summer season. It's a lovely place to go for a walk. The view from the top of the hill is absolutely amazing!
