The kids always enjoy skating and scooting along the coastal path to the beach. It is rarely as busy as Bournemouth beach and is a nice alternative. The beach is more stony than Bournemouth beach but the views more than make up for it.

Wonderful natural gem of a landscape. If you love the outdoors and beautiful scenery, birds and views of the river and sea, you will like it. Brilliant for dog walkers, families, anyone who wants to walk.

Great place to visit with the family. Parked at the visitor centre and walked down to the beach. There is also a land train which accommodates buggies and plenty of bags. Beach was lovely and had a nice little cafe. The beach huts looked pretty...More
For the amount of money they must be making from car parking you'd think they could invest in some decent machines to collect the cash. It's expensive (£5 for 3 hours) but you need a pocketful of coins as the machines don't take notes or...More
