The Royal Bath used to be Bmths' finest Hotel, those days have definately gone. For a 59.00 a night deal on a Sunday there is not much you may expect. The room was fine, functional, but in need of refurb in the near future, staff pleasant enough. Compared to other hotels, its four stars are being challenged. A real disappointment... More

Not very happy with the car park charge £20 per day , When we were told our room was in the east wing! it involved a bit of a walk and when we did eventually find our room we were a bit disappointed as there was no window just a skylight, the room was only big enough for a single... More

We booked extra for a Seaview and it was stunning but the Hotel inside is very dated, I felt they were only interested in squeezing every last penny out of you £20 for parking, £1 each for towels for the Spa, £1 each for lockers (refundable) they asked us to pay on check in (surely you should pay on checking... On finally checking in we were told that the room was a long way and we were left to find it ourselves. With the help of staff we got lost and another visitor found the room for us. Thank you if you read this. The room was adequate, very hot, and looking out at a car park. Disappointed with the... More

Came here for a 2 nights stay. Celebrating my husband's 80th birthday. Whilst the night of the party was a great success, the booking-in was a nightmare and the reception staff were worst then Fawlty Towers. The guy looking after the Valet parking (Joaquin) did not have a clue as to what he was supposed to be doing. My friends... More

We stayed for 5 nights over the Easter holidays we didn't have any food as it has a bad reputation but the rooms are average if you just want a bed for the night really impressive building and the location is perfect but sadly let down by the tiredness of the hotel its a 2 star at best

The property is looking good outside but inside is really old. We had very bad experience with the pushchair as we had to go through stairs and a lot of doors. There was no facility for pushchairs at all! When entering the hotel, through stairs with the pushchair, there was a man working there that saw us but didn't help.... More

This spectacular building and hotel has the potential of being 5 star. However not so. Upon arrival after a 4 hour journey. 3-3.30pm being one of this the busiest check in times. There were only 2 receptionists working. It was utter chaos. The poor valet-parking attendant couldn't cope and was very stressed. It was nearly an hour later before we... More

We turned up to the hotel and had booked two rooms for our family 2 adults and 4 children. The parking situation is a nightmare and queue onto the road of cars waiting to park so we struggled to get in so ended up paying £18 at car park next door. I should of noted the length of time it... More

Went for an evening function last weekend. For the money paid the food was poor quality and standard of service well below par. This hotel is in need of a major refit and staff overhaul.
