There has been a large investment on the paths and surrounding shrubs, plants etc. The views over the bay and harbour are excellent and well worth trying.

When I was a wee boy (born in 65) I recall the walk had coloured spotlights at ground level. When I walked past at around 10pm last night there seemed to be no lights. What's happened to them?

Yes it's completely free just a stiff climb. The down side is there is no wheel chair access because there are stairs at periods.
