Cockington Country Park surrounds the picture postcard Cockington Village which lies just off the seafront near Torquay. The Country Park is free to walk around and features beautiful formal gardens, lakes and woodlands which can be enjoyed via a network of paths. Cockington Court and Cafe are nearby, along with a collection of craft studios where you can browse the creations of local artists and crafts people. The Cockington Country Park is cared for by local charity the Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust, who's volunteers operate a Visitor Centre in the village. Car parking is chargeable, although Trust members can park for free in the Trust's car park. Visit our website for more details.

The weather wasn't promising, infact it was sleeting almost snowing. Appropriately dressed we wondered the park admiring the snowdrops that were also braving the weather. What a wonderfulplace to visit as it feels like a 17th/18th century town with thatched rooves and lots of greenery. There's a small bit of shopping and a nice pub.

This is a great place for a walk, adjacent to the picturesque village of Cockington. It has a craft centre and artisan workshops, carriage rides and a tea room.

Beautiful venue to walk around and explore. On a lovely summery day this venue provides the perfect tranquil place to relax. It's like stepping back in time! The local cafe serves some amazing homemade icecream of amazing flavours. Definitely worth a visit!
