Well worth a visit as there is lots to see on several levels. Well laid out, but make sure you do not miss a floor as it is easy to. The gardens are fabulous to just wander around in a very relaxed atmosphere.

Torre Abbey is one of our local Lottery Funded buildings & the staff plus volunteers really do know their stuff. Lift to all floors level gardens FAB art works which you would not expect to view outside of London. Just so much History in 100's...More

If ever in Torquay be sure to take in Torre Abbey, really good visit. Staff very helpful. Very impressed with the exhibits and grounds. Big well done to all the volunteers a credit to Torre Abbey. Highly recommended.

We came on the land train so got a discount - I think there are other ways to get a discount, so worth looking out for. The ticket entitles you to visit the same day and the next, so we did the museum one day...More

£8 for an adult to get in is way too much. Some interesting history and art. The best bit is the garden, particularly the glasshouse where you are encouraged to smell/touch some plants (and are warned when not to) and also the Agatha Christie 'poisons'...More
