The Lopes is my local, and whilst the outside really doesn't do it any favours, inside is a clean modern pub, serving excellent local ales and pub-food at very reasonable prices all day. The bar staff and waiting staff are all friendly (And I'm not...More

You have to try the 8oz Prime Beefburger with Cheddar Cheese, served with chips and coleslaw. The burger was seasoned just right. Whoever made it, nows how to make proper burgers. It must've been locally sourced. Well done chef!

Stopped off at the Lopes Arms on the way to Buckland Abbey, and we enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast here. You even have the choices of a small, standard or large portion. I had the pork and hubby had the roast beef, very enjoyable.
