West Hoe Park is the perfect place to bring your children. Situated in a decent sized grassed area right on the waterfront are the infamous Gus Honeybun Trains. Loved by kids of all ages for generations, they were first put there in 1953 and are still growing more popular as the years go by. To go with them there is a huge bouncy castle, spinning cooking pots and a kiosk selling snacks and beverages. All rides are 50p each and you do get a decent ride 10minutes on the bouncy castle!! What's not to like :) . Down the other end of the park there are other amusements including crazy golf and a free park with swings and slides etc.

A regular visitor when the sun is shinning but will be sure to be busy particularly when the weather is good. There is a more expensive part to the park round the corner with trampoline access for 5 mins for a pound and other motorised things but quite expensive. In the main part there is the gus honeybun train a... More

I've been coming here since the 1960's - first with my younger brother, then my sons in the 1980's and now with my grandchildren. It really has everything - space to run around, a free playground much improved with new equipment but with the original Thomas the Tank engine my sons played on. There is a pirate playground with paying... More

It is on the Plymouth Hoe and you can get their easily as you walk. This is a little park popular with kids and you can let them have a runabout. It is very well located for tourists and locals.
