This is a beautiful memorial set on Plymouth Hoe, a very emotional place to visit. There are many servicemen's names listed, not just British servicemen but from various other countries. If your in Plymouth everyone young and old should visit the Memorial and remember why these men and women gave their lives, so we could live in a world free... More

Beautifully designed during the 1920's and expanded upon in the 1940's. Stunning location to commemorate over 7000 sailers lost in World War I and nearly 16,000 lost in World War II.

Go to Plymouth Hoe regularly and always visit the Naval War Memorial. It's sad to think of all those names are people who lost their lives for our freedom today. The memorial is well kept, clean and worth a visit because you get great views across Plymouth Sound.

This gets damaged at times which is not fair at all, vandles write on it or spray paint which is hard to get off and it costs money to do this.

An enormous, impressive memorial dedicated to the Navy on top of The Hoe. So many names on the various plaques it would take hours to read them all.
