Came here to listen to a concert, comprising of both choir and orchestra , which worked very well indeed in this lovely building, complete with its very interesting interior and exterior architecture. Well worth a visit, but unfortunately parking is a bit difficult .

Bit downbeat compared with our expectations. Some internal modernisation or re-ordering. Medium turnout on the Sunday morning we visited.

Built in the late 1850s as the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Plymouth and the seat of he only Bishop of Plymouth. This is a simple limestone structure with a narrow spire and occupies the higher ground in northern Stonehouse amidst some...More
