An amazing place to visit and stay in ! So clean, steeped in history and just outstanding! A huge thank you to John the estate manager who gave us a sense of this 18 acres site built in the 1820’s! A must see on your way to this corner of the world!

Well worth a second visit!

We went to Prezzo a few weeks ago and it was all a bit of a muddle so we were given complimentary vouchers.
Tonight’s experience was so different; welcoming, friendly and efficient staff, excellent food and good atmosphere.
Our complimentary card allowed us desserts for 4 but as there were only 3 of us tonight they deducted a starter instead, which we didn’t expect and seemed generous.
We were disappointed not to be able to use our Tesco vouchers ( as didn’t think they would fall into the bank holiday conditions) but with tonight’s experience we look forward to going back another time to use them.
All round a lovely evening.

Rennie's important victualling yard brought up to date.

If you are a fan of Georgian buildings, go there ! I have always wanted to visit this amazing place, after seeing it sadly unused across the water, in all its majesty, for many years. It wasn't public until recently, and the work which has been done to make it attractive, populated, and to re-use important buildings is exemplary.
I only had 2 hours, and in that time I enjoyed a meal in a restaurant, a good walk around, including the quays and the South/West coastal path, viewpoints, colourful marinas, a chance to experience Rennie's victualling yards at close quarters, and I took loads of photos of the magnificent architecture, gates and towers.
There are panoramic views from Mount Wise through Cremyll, Mt Edgcumbe and Drake's Island, and all around to Plymouth Hoe.
The whole place is accessible for joggers, couples, families, anyone.

You would think October 2020 that businesses would be scrambling for custom. Not here.
Stick to the main part of the city if I were you.

Apartment rented
Sep. 2020 • Friends
We rented a one bedroom apartment (Number 4 the bakery), have to say it’s absolutely excellent, the flat is amazing, very spacious for a one bedroom, has all the facilities you would need and in a fabulous location. It’s all really easy to check in and park, the team are amazingly helpful.

It’s so good if we ever come back to Plymouth, it will be to stay here. Absolutely zero complaints, it’s fabulous, highly recommend.

Historic, lovely views and walks

Wow, how well has this previous dockyard been renovated! Really impressive to walk around and have a look. Several restaurants/places to get a drink/food (we liked Seco Lounge) but not a shopping place which was fine. Free to look around and to see the buildings and views of Plymouth harbours and worth a visit.

40 Brewhouse....perfect place to stay! We had a long weekend here and couldn’t have wished for anything more. A perfect place to chill and watch the world go by. Plenty of places nearby to eat and drink.

Easy to park, scenic fir walking abd some good restaurants. Only1 shop which was a shame, would lend itself to a nice tea shop.
Great views of the harbour.
