Leave plenty of time for your visit. There is lots to see. The exhibits are well planned and well presented. Parking isn't available close by Eat next door at Rockfish

Our daughter is fascinated with water and fish and with today being her birthday and only living an hour away we jumped in the car and headed to the national marine aquarium. We arrived and headed inside. The place was very clean and there was lots to see. The tanks were big enough for all to see and the fish... More

Have been here before during non term times and in comparison this visit was not as good. That said it was still a good few hours spent and the kids enjoyed it. I just think they do more shows when the kids are not in school.

Another lovely afternoon spent at the aquarium. Great to see a new turtle as well as discovering even more new fish we'd not seen before. There were even more well placed staff/ volunteers this time able to tell us all about the exhibits and get the children interested in what's going on inside the tanks. Definitely worth a visit.

Possibly the best aquarium I've been too, excellent displays with wonderful viewing perspectives, a great variety of sea life and a highly educational day out for the kids who stayed engaged throughout. Easy to get to, easy parking nearby and reasonably priced for a family of 4 (book online in advance for best deals), we spent an enjoyable morning here... More

Overall it was a great experience,We listened to 2 talks. one of which was on the main tank and we felt that the knowledge provided was very interesting and the member of staff had a great understanding of the animals. it is a bit pricey but you can get membership which let you go as many times you like, within... I used to drag my Dad here a lot as a kid, and I hadn't been for years, so it was lovely to visit at the weekend with my friend and her 6 year old daughter, they had never been to Plymouth before and were impressed with the aquariums dramatic back drop (they're used to the aquarium in Birmingham by... Came to the aquarium for a day trip and enjoyed our visit here. We purchased two standard day passes, with the option of a free years pass, which we politely declined. The aquarium is easily accessible for disabled, caters for all ages and provides great educational facilities for schools and colleges alike. There is a well stocked gift shop, but... More

We were pleased to return to the marine aqaurium at the weekend. It was great as we got to use our free passes to get in as we had been previously. Overall it was a great expiernce as it is constantly changing and the animals seemed to be in tanks with plenty of room and did not seem to be... More

By far the best Aquarium we have visited in the country. Only wish we had been with our son who would have loved it! Loads of exhibits in really generous tanks. The biggest tank (evidently the biggest in door tsk in the U.K. ) had half a plane in it for the sea life to swim around! Very good cafe... More
