We initially chose to go here during a short stay in North Devon owing to the fact that there is Countryside Mobility Tramper on site and also welcomed dogs. Matthew (the owner) could not have been more helpful both when booking the Tramper and during...More

We went in here, mainly because the 3 year old was adamant she wanted to! The museum is not worth it, everything in there has seen better days. The walk up the gorge was nice.

Lovely walk up to the top to experience stunning all round views, a little steep in parts but plenty of places to rest and enjoy the scenery. The Glenn Lyn exhibition is both very informative and interesting.

Really nice walk - bit steep in places - but worth it! Plenty of places to sit and rest up! Some interesting history about the local lifeboat.

A very hilly walk to see the water falls but well worth it in the end . If you go right to the top you will see across the bay .

GLG is and has been the hydroelectric power centre of Exmoor for decades. The museum has buckets of info about hydroelectricity stuffed in one room - then you walk through the gorge. Powered water jets are a fave with the children. The gorge is beautiful...More
