Even though we weren't seeing a show in the theatre itself we booked at the restaurant and had an amazing experience. Great food and lovely staff. Given how busy it was and the limited space they run the place brilliantly. All credit to them and the chefs!

This was the second visit to the Northcott Theatre within a couple of weeks. We saw the wonderful Matthew Bournes Early Adventures, and then Leviathan, both were excellent. Wherever you sit in the Theatre, the view is good, and a warm atmosphere. Of special mention is the View Restaurant. On both visits we have had delicious food. The 2 or... More

My daughters and I went to see The Twits last night at the Northcott Theatre. It's a wonderful, more intimate venue and it seemed as if wherever your seat was, the view of the stage was excellent. We had a fantastic time.

Amazing from start to finish! From the moment Basil, Sybil and Manuel entered the bar to round everyone up to be seated in the dining room (the stage) it was hysterical! The food which was very nice was served in the manner expected from the chaotic Faulty Towers staff, so funny! Most of the diners were laughing so much they... More

Visited the Northcott on the 9th February 2017 to see Matthew Bourne's Early Adventures. As I had bought two tickets as Christmas and Birthday gifts it was a special occasion so pre-show dinner in the restaurant was also booked. The meal was great and the staff delightful. As an unscheduled surprise, Sir Matthew Bourne was giving a Q & A... More

We saw Early Adventures on Friday evening, and it was phenomenal! Can we have more please? It was moving, clever and witty and the full house audience loved it. Parking at the Northcott is a pain and the bar/eating area chaotic, but box office staff are superb... friendly, helpful and efficient.

Went to see Animal Farm, one of my favourite books and it did not disappoint! Great theatre; we were sat at the back but could still hear and see everything. Brilliant performance by all. Bar is a little expensive but then what can you expect? Thanks for a great night!

We have visited the Northcott many times, and not all shows have this offer. Tonight we were seeing Miles Jupp, and this was the first time we had taken up the special pre-show meal offer of a curry and a drink for £10 Not a fan of curries, I was a bit worried about whether it would be too hot... We absolutely loved the show. We saw it on 1st January 2017 2pm. I can't understand the bad reviews? It was outstanding. Star cast. Hook and Tinkerbell stole the show for me. The set design was stunning. Costumes dead on period. It was done well and stuck to the original JM Barry story. Its a lovely theatre, and the staff... More

If I had read the other reviews beforehand I probably wouldn't have booked tickets! However the play was really good. There was flying and the story was conveyed faithfully and adapted really well for children. We were a party of 5 children aged 7 to 14 and 4 adults. We all enjoyed it and felt the scathing review on here... More
