Started at Portscatho car park and headed along the coast towards St Anthony Head, on to Place and back to our car via Porth. I’ve wanted to walk this area for quite some time and it didn’t disappoint even in gale force winds. Stunning scenery,...More

We did an eight mile coastal walk from Portscatho to St. Anthony Head and then onto Place where we had the option to either retrace our steps back to Portscatho or walk back there across country. The third option was to take the Place to...More

A good place to park, members park free. You can walk down to the beautiful beach, onto the coastal path or walk on to St Anthony Head. Whichever you choose the views will be fantastic.

We walked from Portscatho. Fabulous weather made this a great walk with quite a few well placed benches along the route. Well worth doing, but you do need to take plenty of water with you and be fairly fit to complete the walk.

A great walk around the headland with lovely views right across to Falmouth and beyond. There is a free binocular scope in the old battery to look around. The car park is national trust and good accessibility plus toilets.
