What country are we in? Absolutely not what I expected at all. Awesome. Glorious day, miles and miles of yellow sand, next to no one there. Spend an hour or a day and you will feel uplifted.

Just up on top the sand dunes is where my husband’s family home has been and it’s become a summer tradition for the entire family to meet there one sunny summer’s day to picnic & play cricket. There are always professional life guards present and...More

Keep it quiet but this is one of the best and least used beaches in Cornwall. It has a lovely café at the lighthouse end of the beach, I would highly recommend a visit.

Beach to envy any found in the Med and with remarkably fewer people! We parked up in the national trust carpark (free for members) and enjoyed a varied and interesting walk along the beach towards the lighthouse and returning by the clifftop path. The scenery...More

We visited this beach so that the kids could body board. Nice beach but bring your own food and drinks, the on beach coffee hut is expensive.

If was so fun and so hot. The sea felt amazing and it was the perfect sand for building sand castles. Can’t wait to go back next year!

Beautiful from sunrise to sunset, dogs allowed before 8am or after 7pm, a long wide expanse of sand at low tide is perfect for you and your four–legged friends. It’s just a shame some owners let clearly-aggressive dogs off the lead and wonder why they...More

Visited this fantastic beach for the first time 2 weeks ago on Bank Holiday weekend. The beach is soooooo clean and inviting with very observant lifeguard patrols. The surf is great for our gkids aged 5 and 7 with their bodyboards on the flat. Dogs...More

I have been visiting this beech, for nearly 50 years, on and off. Highly recommended, never disappoints. Our little dogs loved running around on the dog friendly part of the beech. More surfers than 50 years ago, which is good for the local economy, I...More

A great family beach, peaceful and beautiful. Lovely walks over the cliff tops. My family love to body board and surf here.

No,it's National Trust for the most part and there's no camping on the beach. There is a camp site just up the road at gwithianfarmdotcodotuk which is also close to a pub!

I can't see why not! Near Godrevy head the National Trust may ban it. The beach is very tidal and if you are responsible I can see no reason why not!
