This beach is obviously great for surfing & windsurfing, but I also love it for the views of St. Ives bay, and the fact that it's a fun, safe place to run the dog around in Winter. It's easy to get lost wandering around the dunes, but in a good way that you'll never want to leave ;)

This time of year there are no restrictions on taking dogs on the beach There's a lovely Café at the National Trust Car Park serving food usually to 3pm and up to 5pm they serve drinks This is a surf central... We had this all to ourselves when we visited. It was beautifully clean and unspoiled. A truly memorable place to visit.

Lovely windy walk in the sunshine with the dogs. Alongside the beach are sand dunes. Great all year round.

Very popular beach with surfers, quite remotely situated, wide golden sands and great views of Godrevy and of St Ives Bay

We went there 2nd March 2017. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't good for us. cloudy ad windy, but the view is unforgettable. Some people go to surfing and this is a good place to do for sure. If is not raining you can go also for hiking in this area it is really great!

Over the Christmas we went here for a trip out, we were not disappointed.......huge lovely beach, our dog was in doggy heaven!!! Parking was free due to the time of year but fairly big car park....can imagine it gets quite busy in the summer. We walked for a good hour and still didn't reach the end!! Would thoroughly recommend this... More

There is literally nothing here save for 2 cafes, one with a shop and only one of them open all year. When the tide goes out you could land an airliner as the beach is so big!
