Nice beach on the walking path around the sea wall. Some nice cafes, shops if you walk up towards the parking area. Toilets located in the same area.

A really nice small beach with lovely sand for sand castle making. No lifegaurd on duty but seemed very safe for swimming, and not a lot of surf unlike other beaches around this area so I'd say safe for children

Food quality is second to none. We had the calamari and the paella for two. Both dishes were fresh and the flavours fantastic. Definitely worth a second visit. Quirky restaurant - very unique. Service was OK.

Small beach in a protected area and good for swimming, kids playing, and views from the cafe. Near Porthmeor and St Ives Harbour beaches but separate from both.

The view down onto Porthgwidden Beach from the Island at St. Ives is wonderful. The beach itself is also lovely--even though I was there near the end of holiday season, it was never crazy-crowded and had a peaceful vibe.

On our visit there was a "no dogs allowed" sign at the entrance to the beach.there is however a dog friendly beach a five minute walk away.
