We began our walk from Marazion, crossing the marshes and then continuing to Ludgvan and the moors. (free coffees in Ludvan village hall at 10.30 if you travel on Wednesday). Stunning views of St Michael's Mount and the bay, ancient fields, woods, streams and standing stones. The path skirts Trencrom Hill, and you can climb to the top for an... More

Down in St. Ives so decided to walk this route. Some great views along the way. I found the path a little hard to follow at the start. Either sign posts had been removed or we missed them or there wasn't enough. However, the second half was a breeze. We stopped for refreshments at The White Hart, Ludgvan, only had... More

I hadn't planned to follow this path, but noticed it on an Ordnance Survey map and thought it offered an opportunity for me to enjoy the countryside between St Ives and Penzance. I've learnt now that I walked it in reverse; I think the idea is to head south where I use it to go north, but I don't think... More

Then the cameras battery failed!. This Hill fort overlooks pretty much all of the Hayle area plus off toward St.Ives and back a fine view of the farmland and Mounts bay,so, if like us you are of an age and capability, take the coach route to St.Ives from Hayle, pass Splattenridden and you will see a sign to Trencrom. This will give... More

Did this walk for charity and it was hard going at first but well worth all the hard work. Beautiful scenery and a walk back through Marazion marshes. would recommend.

Long walk out to St michaels mount, wouldn't have been too bad however half of the path was blocked off for repair work so we had to walk on the muddy sand.

I walk this route every week but it still never fails to inspire me. A walk where you can get away from the hum drum of life highly recommended

This is a relatively new trail - around 10 miles from the North to South coasts of west Cornwall. The walk starts in St Ives, visiting the Knill Monument, Trencrom Hill Fort, various villages, and a wetland conservation area, before arriving in Marazion. The route is signposted well and the leaflet provided (available locally in the bookshop and Tourist Information... More
