Although out of season, we found the beach to be clean and attractive. Unfortunately, dogs are permitted after 31 Sept which spoiled the overall experience.

Lovely and clean. Beautiful views. Nice for a stroll along the sand and a paddle in the sea. Near to bars for lunch.

Greatest beach for surfers. Huge waves, but the shore line is safe for children. All the cafes have areas where the parents can relax over a leisurely lunch or drinks & watch their children on the beach

This beach is beautiful really clean and safe for children as very flat. Nice cafe at back of beach. I walked there from St Ives harbour, which you can do at low tide.

A really clean beach and superb toilets which you can’t say you find at many beaches, so well done to the local council! Plus you have great food at the Porthminster cafe!

Beautiful sheltered beach. Fabulous turquoise water and easy stroll back into St Ives. Close to the coastal walk to Codgey point.

The nearest beach is the station car park that’s usually full, the one we use would be too far away, you could park carbis bay then get a train in if your not staying in st Ives sorry if not much help.
