Our favourite beach. Ideal for relaxing, swimming body boarding (sometimes) and for young children. Rock polls and swimming in relatively calm waters with gentle sloping beach. Good facilities although public changing could be better. Restaurant, cafe's and beach shop. High quality sandwiches, coffee'pasties etc available from cafe's on beach. Toilets available. Small car park at the beach but best to... More

Completely sandy beach less touristy, quiter. Surfers enjoy this Northerly costline. Rocks are more prominent to the East promontary end of this beatiful beach.

Visited there, in the evening, and managed to get a pod outside overlooking the sea, lovely food, we went back next day so my grandson and son in law could go body boarding, we sat inside drinking lovely coffee and hot chocolate. Best to book.

We took our lovely pooch here for a Xmas morning walk & found a lovely clean stretch of gorgeous cornish heaven. Easy access close to town so ideal. Lots of surfers as well to watch. Great!

Beautiful clean beach, great for families and those wishing to surf. Clean with clear blue sea. Not dog friendly in the summer

Another of the beautiful beaches that can be found at St Ives. Great for surfing and water sports. The sunsets from this beach are amazing.

If it wasn't for North Atlantic water temps, I could have mistaken the beach for a tropical paradise. The air temperatures were unseasonably warm and sunny, making my time at the beach unforgettable. It gets busy in the summer but time your visit for low tide where you get tons of room to walk along the beach and harbour area.

We viewed this wonderful beach from a coffeehouse overlooking the bay. It is right beside the Tate St Ives which, once it re-opens, will add character to the location.
