Great little place to stay just outside St Ives ... very pretty and very quiet compared to bustling St Ives but only a £2 return train ride into town ... one stop and about 5 mins !! The best of both worlds !! The beach looked gorgeous but just a little too cold at the end of November !! Would... More

Surrounded by eateries, pubs, art galleries, pasty makers and bakers everything is on hand to enjoy this beautiful harbour and bay. Constant activity on and around the beach make this a really 'fun' place to visit.

We have just come back from another short stay at Carbis Bay and it never disappoints. Beautiful location, lovely bedrooms all beautifully clean, the staff are lovely and the food is great. Would highly recommend.

A lovely wide sweeping bay of soft sand, there are toilet facilities, and a cafe. There is also a surf school, they also offer a kids club in summer. 2 minutes down hill from the rail station.

I went here a couple of years ago & went back recently to see if my opinion of it had changed ......... unfortunately it has not. It is too steep a climb from the train to the beach, & whilst I was there the majority of beach was in the shade. I find it annoying that not all the trains... More

Lovely beach with nice stream running through the middle, beautiful blue sea and usually peaceful. Care as being developed and quite noisy while we were there. Building a number of new houses. Still nice though.

An attractive beach close to the train station. Bit of a steep climb back up the hill, but lovely views
