Even though I'm not a fan of Cornish sea shanties (sp?) this was a lovely evening with a great atmosphere. The band put on free concerts on Friday evenings this time of year and a lot of people turn out. It seems to be a focal point of social life in the town. Bring a towel so you can sit... More

Never seen these guys live before and will certainly try to see them again as we both found them great fun. We live 120 miles away so it won't be too often unless they are performing closer to us. They've done Glastonbury this year and they are doing Sidmouth Folk Festival on Friday 29th July. Great fun.

You will not be dissapointed to see these men singing their sea shanty songs either in concert or in their local village of Port Isaac on a Friday night during the summer months situated on the beach with the backdrop of the beautiful Port Isaac Harbour. A truly memorable experience and great atmosphere.

Arrived in Port Isaac on Friday and while having dinner was told that the Fishermans Friends would be singing down in the harbour and this was the last night that they would be playing so after finishing our meal we walked down to hear them. There was a lot of people watching them but managed to get close to actually... More

What can you say ... world class entertainment, in a stunning setting. Get there early to ensure a good spot on the foreshore.

Fantastic evening in the Open Air Theatre in the park. All tickets sold out, wonderful singing and good, earthy sense of humour. Looking forward to next time!
