Overview
More
An easy 2.1 mile walk along the South West Coast Path from Penzance that gives great views across Mounts Bay to St Michael's Mount, the Lizard and Mousehole. In autumn, the Bird Reserve at Marazion attracts rare migrants such as bitterns and water rails. The flocks of swallows hunting flying ants sometimes draw the attention of a passing hobby, an unusual bird of prey.

This section of the Coast path has beach on one side, with no real impressive scenery like clouds etc, and commercial estates next to a railway line in the other. The only positive thing about it is Mount St Michael at one end. Take the...More

Thought we would do our first walk after arriving in Penzance to Marazion. It is flat and pleasant enough but would rather have caught the bus and saved my energy for walking around the back streets of Marazion itself and then perhaps caught the bus...More

A wonderful walk along the coast just taking in breathtaking views and the odd Cornish ice cream. If you are visiting the uk do make an effort to visit this area as it is stunningly beautiful and has so much to offer.

Great level seaside walk. Park in Penzance Harbour car park and walk to Marazion (2.5 miles). Several good places to eat or visit St Michael's Mount.

Lovely path with so much to see. Well worth a visit. Some bits are easy going and some very steep sections. Wear good supportive shoes or boots.

I arrived at Penzance Station car park by bus which is very easy to get to. You can walk along the beach at low tide all of the way to Marazion with stunning views of St Michael's Mount. Lots of wonderful waves and sea birds...More

Great views and ever-changing vistas in the most beautiful part of the UK. It's not always easy walking, some parts are more like rock climbing, but it's wonderful nonetheless.

Firstly confession time, we only ever use the part of the path over from the mainland to St. Michael's Mount. The National Trust Car Park is very busy and most people are gone for the day so it's better to arrive early if you are...More

Yes if the tide is out you can walk but if not there are lots of little boats to take you over. It’s fabulous! Enjoy!
