Beautiful garden to visit in spring

Beautiful garden to visit in spring if you are in the area. I especially loved "William's walk" which borders a small stream.

Mostly accessible by wheelchair - one can be borrowed on the way in - the gardens are especially enjoyable in Spring. With a book shop and gallery on site plus an excellent cafe adjacent and being easily accessible by bus from Penzance the friendly staff all help contribute to a relaxing and pleasant day out.

The garden is full of life with lots of vivid plants and flowers in late April. It was very easy walk around the garden. The view at Terrace is stunning with floating sea below... More

Visit these amazing gardens for some awe and wonder with the camellias and rhododendrons in bloom. The cafe also provides fabulous food, especially the dream teas.

National trust tearooms can be a bit hit or miss - this is definitely a hit. Lovely sandwiches is rustic bread, all tasty ingredients, nice soup. Great menu, friendly. If you want a cream tea, lunch or full afternoon tea it's perfect. Gardens are beautiful as well !

We have been there before and the gardens are beautiful but yesterday (Saturday) I wanted to take my husband there for his birthday and couldn't believe they were closed. OK, so they need a day or two off. Monday - Thursday I understand but to close on a Saturday, in Spring, the week before Easter? Total madness. Anyway, we drove... More

National Trust's Trengwainton Garden near Penzance in Cornwall. Visited March 2017 in the pouring rain but enjoyed walking the gardens. Some beautiful plants/trees in the woodland areas but due to the time of year there was no colour in the walled gardens. Would visit again during the summer months if we were in the area. Here in this warm and... More
