We have been slow to review this site because We’d like to keep it a secret. Firstly I must say that we only use this site outside peak times. We love this site and have just booked for our 3rd year - there is a...More
This is an excellent quiet campsite with top rate facilities. The shower block is spotless and there's always hot water. There is a well fitted out kitchen area with fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, etc. The owners are friendly and very helpful. All-in all a brilliant...More

It was great having you to stay Mike, hope you come back next year for level 2 to surfing!!!!
We stayed here for one night. Lovely walk to Watergate Bay and great meal. The pitchs are very close together and we had no privacy at all. The trees hitting the roof all night and the noise from both sides we didn't sleep well at...More

Oh I am sorry this is your review, and you did not get a good nights sleep. Our site is naturally landscaped and it was unfortunate your van was parked so hard back on the pitch to not clear the trees. They will get an...More
Despite the fact we booked the one wet week of the summer of 2018 we so enjoyed this campsite. It has lovely little ‘secrets’ such as the plunge pool and wooded walk. The owners are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Facilities are clean and tidy and...More

So pleased you enjoyed our little traditional type camp site, we love running it and think it is a little hidden gem
This is a wonderful campsite, small enough to be considered boutique but without the conceit. It’s hidden away but a short drive from anywhere you would want to go on the North Coast of Cornwall. I used it as a base for Newquay and the...More

It was lovely to see you this year again on a return visit, so pleased Andy's recommendation on the artisan Cyder when down so well with the evening camp fires!
Just returned from our third stay at Coastal Valley. It's a small, unspoilt and quiet site perfect for families and those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of larger sites. Showers and toilets are brilliant and with a kitchen as well there is all...More
A lovely small peaceful campsite in a beautiful scenic valley location just what we needed after the long drive from Yorkshire!
Andy & Tanya are wonderful hosts, very friendly and always on hand should you need anything. They are completely committed to ensure you enjoy...More

wonderful to have you and your friends stay with us for 2 weeks in the Glade on your first trip to Cornwall. It will be a pleasure to have you stay again some time.
Great spot for a quiet weekend near some beautiful beaches. Andy was very helpful. Great to see it being eco-friendly too :) nice little touches too like the communal kitchen area and the wetsuit washing. Only thing that we found slightly strange was the guy...More

Great you liked the site, will look into the timings for loo cleaning,. At that time of the year it is checked 3 times a day and the ladies never seems completely empty
We’ve had lovely stays here a few times. Recently stayed at a different campsite in Cornwall and it doesn’t compare! So had to write a review for this to show my appreciation! Coastal valley has clean and modern loos and showers but otherwise makes you...More

So pleased you have had multiple great stays with us and the vibe you describe is exactly what we wish people to enjoy. Old fashioned type camping, chilled, natural but with a bit of comfort. Wonderful to see you next year ..(with your poles.:))
