I had to go here to write a poem for my masters degree, but with such beautiful scenery, it really wasn't hard. Perfect if you just want to get lost somewhere pretty.

Charming place with an award winning restaurant. All the staff are welcoming and the gardens offer a wide variety of species. The beach at the bottom is so so lovely. Love this place. Xx

We visited on a stormy day in February but still found it enjoyable walking around the beautiful sub-tropical gardens on the Cornish coast. The paths weave around so you can walk at different levels to see the gardens from different heights. The camellias were in flower which were a delight to see in the winter. It was useful to see... Delightful gardens with constantly views throughout the seasons. In February the crocuses were out on the lawn. The magnolias were coming into bloom alongside snowdrops and primroses.

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Trebah. As members of the National Trust, we got a discount on entry, and paid around £6.50, which i thought was excellent value. Nice soup and coffee for lunch, at about the right price. We paid for the kids quiz, which was quite amusing, and provided a structure for our walk around the garden.... More

Even in early February this well maintained and intimate garden has lots to offer. The azaleas are starting to bloom, the mimosa likewise, the different colours of bamboo are striking and it is very unpopulated at this time of year. We spent a happy time exploring from the entrance down to the beach along good gravel paths. We also saw... More

We visited during late autumn when the gardens were quiet. Beautiful autumn colours on the trees although not many flowers as this is more shrubs and trees. Lovely little beach at the bottom with WW2 history. However downside was the long wait to show our ticket which we had purchased in advance. Also limited menu in the restaurant with unhelpful...
