Great views
May 2021 • Couples
Within easy walking distance from Falmouth Town Centre, Pendennis Point offers stunning views of the coast. Would recommend taking the scenic coastal path from the Town Centre to get here, and, once you’ve taken in the views, to continue down the path to the beaches.

Beautiful views
May 2021
Beautiful views from every direction. You could easily spend time just sat looking out to sea. We took the ‘scenic route’ on the way there, along the costal path which was lovely and then came back the other way to make it a circular walk, would really recommend. It’s worth noting their are no public toilets and just a coffee truck but you go for the views rather than amenities.

A fantastic vantage point with views over the harbour, beaches and distant St. Mawes a lovely walk around the castle back into town or to the three close by beaches of swanpool, castle and gyllygvase.

Lovely spot to stop and take in the views. Plenty of parking during the winter. Great to sit with a flask of something to warm you through.

Nice view

Really nice walk from Gylly beach. Just head towards the castle. Didn't bother to go to the castle as have to pre-book regarding Covid procedures but walk was lovely and interesting to watch work being carried out at the docks.

A cardiovascular walk
Jul. 2020
We walked up and around and noticed many dog walkers using the grass a latrine for their pets.

A swift flew low and passed our ankles which was the closest I had ever been to one.

Superb Views
Sep. 2019
Once past the docks, it is a very pleasant one-way road that takes you along the coast and out to Pendennis Point where you can park up and enjoy the views out to sea, or across to St. Mawes or up the estuary to Falmouth. Best done on a sunny day with an ice cream in hand.

Panoramic view!
Sep. 2019 • Couples
Drove to the point - which commences as two way but soon becomes one way (just after the entrance to the Castle) for obvious reasons!

Great views - not spectacular, but blessed with glorious September sunshine and a deep blue sky, we are glad we visited.

It appears the ice cream van is there much of the time and whist not buying one there was a line, so it’s certainly a draw (apart from the view)

To reach the Point, it is walkable, and next time, we will!

What a view.

A visit to Falmouth is not complete unless you park at Pendennis Point and have an ice cream. The view is breathtaking.
