What a gem of a course! In truth the greens were not particularly good on the day our 12 from Derbyshire visited, but the difficulty of everything else belies the parkland setting. Water, ditches, gullies, lakes, ponds, streams....you'll find them all if you look. I did! Trees, lots of trees. Fairways not too tight but could be a problem in... More

Nice course set in the Cheshire Countryside! Lovely welcome from pro Stephen, staff and members. Food is always very good. If 15 mins closer to home we would definitely join.

Hidden away in the Cheshire country side is Aldersey Golf Course, this is my third visit to the course in five weeks, from talking with Stephen Bradbury Pro giving you a warm welcome, first impressions mean a lot, the tree lined fairways are generous, the green are true to hit and put on, but be aware of the water hazards,... Played a round of golf here for a change . Course in great condition green really fast was an enjoyable day . Only downside was the small menu available sandwiches or sausage and chips something more wholesome would have sufficed . Would return though a great day

First impressions were positive as i approached the 1st tee but sadly that's where it all ended. The course is basically a shaved field with ponds dotted around which hardly come into play unless your a severe hacker. Very rarely will you have an inviting lie even if you bomb your drive down the hey diddle. Rough is thick &... More

The wife and myself had the pleasure of participating in an Open Mixed Stableford 4BBB Competition on Saturday 07 June 15. The club house is compact and has all the facilities that you would expect from a professionally run club. The welcome was warm and friendly with the members keen to partake in conversation. The course was interesting and a... More

Ten minutes outside Chester, this parkland course is a delight to play. Each hole offers a different challenge, and each appears to be in it's own avenue of trees - you can't see most of the other holes as you play - very peaceful. This is a course you need to think your way around, with plenty of hazards to... More

Whilst the club house doent have much in way of facilities ( No TV or Snooker tables etc) it does have a well stocked pro shop and buggies and the food and service was excellent - Thanks also for letting the Golf Society use...
